Sears Tower Historic Renovation, Chicago Ill.

  • Sears Tower Restoration involved the total restoration of the 1905 structure. RM, Avendt provided Construction Management Services for Design Development, Project Procurement, Project Management and Site Supervision. Total duration 24 months.
SMS Assist Building

SMS Assist, Chicago Ill.

  • RM Avendt provided Executive Support for Company Development and Growth. Period of Service 12 month at John Hancock Main Office facility Chicago Ill. . Tasks Included; Client point of Contact, Account Management and Staff Training.

LA Bonson Hazardous Site Remediatioin

  • RMACS provided on site Oversite for Site Remediation.. This site was the location of a early 1900 Foundry in Bronson Michigan. Work included Identification of areas of contamination, Sampling, Characterization, and removal and proper disposal of site contamination. Site was then restored to vacant Industrial Property.
Milwakee Courthouse Building

Milwaukee Courthouse Renovation

  • SG Construction Services, General Contractor to US GSA. Project included removal and refreshment of 640 historic windows and related finishes. Federal Court function remained in operation throughout project.
Sterling State Park Building

Sterling State Park

  • The project work was performed in compliance with DEQ Standards and Regulations. This project, valued at approximately $11.5 million dollars, began on October 15, 2001 and was successfully completed on March 1, 2003.
Dodge Park

Dodge Park

  • This project consisted of the construction of an 800 sq. ft. toilet and shower facility for a State of Michigan Campground. The total contract amount was $225,000. The structure included concrete foundations, which required a steel-sheeted retention system due to the existing ground water condition, masonry exterior, and a wood frame and fiberglass shingled roof system. The project began in mid-March of 2001 and was completed in early August of 2001.

  • RM Avendt provided Contract Services to support Estimating and Project Management.
Island Lake

Island Lake Shooting Range

  • This was a construction of a 4,000 sq. ft. service center for management of rifle, trap, and sporting clays range on 75 acres of land. The Service Center consisted of single-story concrete building, masonry exterior, and fiberglass shingled roof. The facility included the construction of a snack bar and public restroom accommodations and renovations to the existing rifle range and construction for combination of skeet and trap ranges. Trap houses were constructed with concrete and skeet houses were constructed using pre-colored split- face masonry block. The site development was constructed in compliance with American Skeet and Trap Association Tolerances and Standards.

  • This was an incredible and rewarding project, Completed in 18 months on Budget. The result is a beautiful addition to the Flint community
Genesys Hospital

Genesys Hospital Grand Blanc Michigan

  • Genesys Hospital is a 400 bed facility that combined three Flint Area Hospitals. RM Arendt’s Company SG Construction Company joint ventured project with Centex Rogers of Nashville Tenn. Bob Avendt participated as Community Coordinator and Labor relations Manager.
Grosse Pointe Library Building

Grosse Pointe Library

  • This project involved the construction of a 15,000 sq. ft. library facility. The site was located in a confined residential community and therefore, building construction operations required detailed planning and meticulous material management. The building consisted of a concrete spread footing, a structural steel frame, a masonry exterior, and a tile roof. The interior finishes required multiple high-level systems, including a 50-foot interior masonry fireplace and chimney. The system of heating and ventilation was combination hydronic forced air. The interior electrical fixtures included multiple upscale lighting systems. The site development included concrete planting beds, hand-set paved walkways, asphalt parking, and various landscape materials. The project, valued at approximately $5 million dollars.

  • The MDOT Building in Southfield Michigan provides office space for our Michigan Transportation Department.

St. Mark Coptic Church

  • St. Mark Coptic Church left a lasting impression on everyone who participated. A beautiful structure that makes a valued contribution to its community. Worship Centers are the most rewarding type of projects that a contractor can contribute to.

Lansing Press Installation

  • RM Avendt’s company was General Contractor for installation of two new 1200 ton IHI Automotive Sheet Metal Presses. Press Plant is part of new Automotive Assembly Facility.
